Free Software Media is an initiative to publish, promote & distribute, Free Software related text, audio and video contents across India, professionally. Inspired by the work of Network theory Ltd, We are pleased to announce this initiative with a similar objective for India.

The first version of Free Software Media will be released in the first week of Feb 2010. This initial version possess feature to purchase books through credit card online. We will adding more feature in the consecutive releases with the feedbacks from the users.

About the technologies, the site is powered by Pressflow a fork of drupal, Ubercart a drupal module for e-commerce functionality and EBS module payment gateway with MySQL database as backend.
